For German citizens, the membership fee is tax deductible. Non-citizens should consult their own tax advisors as to deductibility under applicable law. Since the Förderverein is recognized as a non-profit organization under German law, persons paying 100 Euros or more will automatically receive a deductible tax confirmation certificate. For payment below that amount, the payment receipt serves as the tax confirmation certificate.
